महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-16, verse-13

ज्यातलत्रधनुःशब्दाः कुञ्जराणां च बृंहितम् ।
ताडितानां च पततां निनादः सुमहानभूत् ॥१३॥
13. jyātalatradhanuḥśabdāḥ kuñjarāṇāṁ ca bṛṁhitam ,
tāḍitānāṁ ca patatāṁ ninādaḥ sumahānabhūt.

13. There was a mighty roar comprising the twang of bowstrings, the sounds of arm-guards and bows, the trumpeting of elephants, and the cries of those struck and falling.
