महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-11, verse-20

द्रोण उवाच ।
न चेद्युधिष्ठिरं वीर पालयेदर्जुनो युधि ।
मन्यस्व पाण्डवं ज्येष्ठमानीतं वशमात्मनः ॥२०॥
20. droṇa uvāca ,
na cedyudhiṣṭhiraṁ vīra pālayedarjuno yudhi ,
manyasva pāṇḍavaṁ jyeṣṭhamānītaṁ vaśamātmanaḥ.
20. droṇaḥ uvāca na cet yudhiṣṭhiram vīra pālayet arjunaḥ
yudhi manyasva pāṇḍavam jyeṣṭham ānītam vaśam ātmanaḥ
20. droṇaḥ uvāca he vīra,

20. Droṇa said: "O hero, if Arjuna does not protect Yudhiṣṭhira in battle, then consider that the eldest Pāṇḍava has been brought under your own control (ātman)."
