महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-109, verse-3

अथ कर्णः शरव्रातैर्भीमं बलवदर्दयत् ।
ननाद बलवन्नादं पुनर्विव्याध चोरसि ॥३॥
3. atha karṇaḥ śaravrātairbhīmaṁ balavadardayat ,
nanāda balavannādaṁ punarvivyādha corasi.

nanāda balavat nādam punaḥ vivyādha ca urasi
3. atha karṇaḥ śaravrātaiḥ bhīmam balavat arddayat
balavat nādam nanāda punaḥ ca urasi vivyādha
3. Then Karna severely distressed Bhima with showers of arrows. He roared a mighty roar and again pierced [him] in the chest.
