महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-109, verse-11

तया जघानाधिरथेः सदश्वान्साधुवाहिनः ।
गदया भारतः क्रुद्धो वज्रेणेन्द्र इवासुरान् ॥११॥
11. tayā jaghānādhiratheḥ sadaśvānsādhuvāhinaḥ ,
gadayā bhārataḥ kruddho vajreṇendra ivāsurān.

11. Enraged, Bhārata (Bhīmasena) struck with that mace (gadā) the excellent, well-trained horses of Karṇa (ādhirathi), just as Indra (indra) with his thunderbolt (vajra) strikes the asuras (asura).
