महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-109, verse-22

शयानं भिन्नमर्माणं दुर्मुखं शोणितोक्षितम् ।
दृष्ट्वा कर्णोऽश्रुपूर्णाक्षो मुहूर्तं नाभ्यवर्तत ॥२२॥
22. śayānaṁ bhinnamarmāṇaṁ durmukhaṁ śoṇitokṣitam ,
dṛṣṭvā karṇo'śrupūrṇākṣo muhūrtaṁ nābhyavartata.

karṇaḥ aśrupūrṇākṣaḥ muhūrtam na abhyavartata

22. Having seen Durmukha lying there, his vital parts pierced and drenched in blood, Karna, with eyes full of tears, could not move forward for a moment.
