महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-53, verse-22

प्रशशाम रजो भौमं व्युक्षितं रणशोणितैः ।
दिशश्च विमलाः सर्वाः संबभूवुर्जनेश्वर ॥२२॥
22. praśaśāma rajo bhaumaṁ vyukṣitaṁ raṇaśoṇitaiḥ ,
diśaśca vimalāḥ sarvāḥ saṁbabhūvurjaneśvara.

22. O lord of men (janeśvara), the earthly dust, moistened by the battle-blood, settled down. And all the directions (diś) became clear and spotless.
