महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-53, verse-10

हयारोहैर्हयारोहाः पात्यन्ते स्म महाहवे ।
ऋष्टिभिर्विमलाग्राभिः प्रासैरपि च संयुगे ॥१०॥
10. hayārohairhayārohāḥ pātyante sma mahāhave ,
ṛṣṭibhirvimalāgrābhiḥ prāsairapi ca saṁyuge.

10. In that great battle (mahāhave), horsemen were struck down by other horsemen; and in the conflict (saṃyuge), also by spears with gleaming points and by javelins.
