महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-117, verse-1

संजय उवाच ।
ततस्ते पार्थिवाः सर्वे जग्मुः स्वानालयान्पुनः ।
तूष्णींभूते महाराज भीष्मे शंतनुनन्दने ॥१॥

tataste pārthivāḥ sarve jagmuḥ svānālayānpunaḥ ,

1. Saṃjaya said: O Great King (Mahārāja), then all those kings returned to their own abodes, once Bhishma, the son of Shantanu, had become silent.
