महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-101, verse-20

तेऽपि प्रासैः सुनिशितैः शरैः संनतपर्वभिः ।
न्यकृन्तन्नुत्तमाङ्गानि विचरन्तो दिशो दश ॥२०॥
20. te'pi prāsaiḥ suniśitaiḥ śaraiḥ saṁnataparvabhiḥ ,
nyakṛntannuttamāṅgāni vicaranto diśo daśa.
20. te api prāsaiḥ suniśitaiḥ śaraiḥ sannataparvabhiḥ
nyakṛntan uttamāṅgāni vicarantāḥ diśaḥ daśa
20. te api daśa diśaḥ vicarantāḥ suniśitaiḥ prāsaiḥ
sannataparvabhiḥ śaraiḥ uttamāṅgāni nyakṛntan
20. And they too, moving about in all ten directions, severed heads with very sharp spears and well-jointed arrows.
