महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-101, verse-18

ततस्ते रथिनो राजञ्शरैः संनतपर्वभिः ।
न्यकृन्तन्नुत्तमाङ्गानि कायेभ्यो हयसादिनाम् ॥१८॥
18. tataste rathino rājañśaraiḥ saṁnataparvabhiḥ ,
nyakṛntannuttamāṅgāni kāyebhyo hayasādinām.

18. O King, then those charioteers, with their well-jointed arrows, severed the heads from the bodies of the cavalrymen.
