महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-22, verse-29

एवं ते निहता राजञ्शतं पञ्च च कीचकाः ।
स च सेनापतिः पूर्वमित्येतत्सूतषट्शतम् ॥२९॥
29. evaṁ te nihatā rājañśataṁ pañca ca kīcakāḥ ,
sa ca senāpatiḥ pūrvamityetatsūtaṣaṭśatam.
29. evam te nihatāḥ rājan śatam pañca ca kīcakāḥ
saḥ ca senāpatiḥ pūrvam iti etat sūtaṣaṭśatam
29. Thus, O King, those one hundred and five Kīcakas were slain. And that commander (Kīcaka) had been killed earlier. So, this accounts for six hundred charioteers in total.
