महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-3, verse-4

मुहूर्तमिव स ध्यात्वा धर्मेणान्विष्य तां गतिम् ।
युधिष्ठिरमुवाचेदं धौम्यो धर्मभृतां वरः ॥४॥
4. muhūrtamiva sa dhyātvā dharmeṇānviṣya tāṁ gatim ,
yudhiṣṭhiramuvācedaṁ dhaumyo dharmabhṛtāṁ varaḥ.
4. muhūrtam iva sa dhyātvā dharmeṇa anviṣya tām gatim |
yudhiṣṭhiram uvāca idam dhaumyaḥ dharmabhṛtām varaḥ
4. Having meditated (dhyāna) for a moment, and having thoroughly investigated that course of action through his understanding of natural law (dharma), Dhaumya, the foremost among those who uphold natural law (dharma), spoke this to Yudhiṣṭhira.
