महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-3, verse-2

प्रस्थितं मानुयान्तीमे ब्राह्मणा वेदपारगाः ।
न चास्मि पालने शक्तो बहुदुःखसमन्वितः ॥२॥
2. prasthitaṁ mānuyāntīme brāhmaṇā vedapāragāḥ ,
na cāsmi pālane śakto bahuduḥkhasamanvitaḥ.
2. prasthitam mā anuyānti ime brāhmaṇāḥ vedapāragāḥ
na ca asmi pālane śaktaḥ bahuduḥkhasamanvitaḥ
2. These Brahmins, who have mastered the Vedas, follow me as I depart. Yet, I am not capable of protecting them, as I am burdened with many sorrows.
