महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-278, verse-4

नारद उवाच ।
क्व गताभूत्सुतेयं ते कुतश्चैवागता नृप ।
किमर्थं युवतीं भर्त्रे न चैनां संप्रयच्छसि ॥४॥
4. nārada uvāca ,
kva gatābhūtsuteyaṁ te kutaścaivāgatā nṛpa ,
kimarthaṁ yuvatīṁ bhartre na caināṁ saṁprayacchasi.
4. nārada uvāca kva gatā abhūt sutā iyam te kutaḥ ca eva āgatā
nṛpa kimartham yuvatīm bhartre na ca enām saṃprayacchasi
4. Narada said, "Where had this daughter of yours gone, O King, and from where has she returned? Why do you not give this young woman to a husband?"
