कर्मदोषश्च वै विद्वन्नात्मजातिकृतेन वै ।
कंचित्कालं मृष्यतां वै ततोऽसि भविता द्विजः ।

10. karmadoṣaśca vai vidvannātmajātikṛtena vai ,

sāṁprataṁ ca mato me'si brāhmaṇo nātra saṁśayaḥ.

karma-doṣaḥ ca vai vidvan ātma-jāti-kṛtena

10.
O learned one (vidvan), indeed the flaw of action (karma) is due to your intrinsic nature (ātman) of birth. Endure it for a while, indeed. Then you will become a brahmin. And now, I consider you a brahmin; there is no doubt about this.
