योऽसौ सर्वान्महीपालान्धर्मेण वशमानयत् ।
स शंतनुर्महातेजाः पितुस्तव पितामहः ।

22. O Pārtha, that illustrious Śāntanu, your father's grandfather, who brought all kings under his sway through natural law (dharma), now rejoices in heaven because of Pārtha (Arjuna), the wielder of the Gāṇḍīva bow.
