महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-156, verse-8

सुकृतं प्रतिकर्तुं च कच्चिद्धातुं च दुष्कृतम् ।
यथान्यायं कुरुश्रेष्ठ जानासि न च कत्थसे ॥८॥
8. sukṛtaṁ pratikartuṁ ca kacciddhātuṁ ca duṣkṛtam ,
yathānyāyaṁ kuruśreṣṭha jānāsi na ca katthase.

8. O best of Kurus, I hope that you know how to return good deeds and to counteract evil ones, acting justly, and yet you do not boast.
