महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-156, verse-22

ईषच्चपलकर्माणं मनुष्यमिह भारत ।
द्विषन्ति सर्वभूतानि ताडयन्ति च राक्षसाः ॥२२॥
22. īṣaccapalakarmāṇaṁ manuṣyamiha bhārata ,
dviṣanti sarvabhūtāni tāḍayanti ca rākṣasāḥ.
22. īṣat capalakarmāṇam manuṣyam iha bhārata
dviṣanti sarvabhūtāni tāḍayanti ca rākṣasāḥ
22. O Bharata, here, all beings despise a man whose actions (karma) are even slightly unsteady, and rākṣasas harass him.
