manīṣiṇaḥ āhuḥ [yat] deśe sukṛtam taḍāgam dharmasya arthasya kāmasya [ca] phalam eva mahāśrayam kṣetram [ca asti].

The wise declare that a well-constructed pond in a locality is the fruit of natural law (dharma), prosperity (artha), and fulfillment of desires (kāma), and indeed a great sanctuary.
