महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-99, verse-27

तस्य पुत्रा भवन्त्येते पादपा नात्र संशयः ।
परलोकगतः स्वर्गं लोकांश्चाप्नोति सोऽव्ययान् ॥२७॥
27. tasya putrā bhavantyete pādapā nātra saṁśayaḥ ,
paralokagataḥ svargaṁ lokāṁścāpnoti so'vyayān.
27. tasya putrāḥ bhavanti ete pādapāḥ na atra saṃśayaḥ
paralokagataḥ svargam lokān ca āpnoti saḥ avyayān
27. These trees become his sons; there is no doubt about this. One who has departed to the other world (paraloka) attains heaven (svarga) and imperishable realms.
