महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-75, verse-6

आह्वानं च प्रयुञ्जीत समङ्गे बहुलेति च ।
प्रविश्य च गवां मध्यमिमां श्रुतिमुदाहरेत् ॥६॥
6. āhvānaṁ ca prayuñjīta samaṅge bahuleti ca ,
praviśya ca gavāṁ madhyamimāṁ śrutimudāharet.

praviśya ca gavām madhyam imām śrutim udāharet
6. One should also make an invocation, saying, 'O well-limbed (cows), O abundant (cows)!' And having entered among the cows, one should recite this sacred verse (śruti).
