नाम संकीर्तयेत्तस्या यथासंख्योत्तरं स वै ।
फलं षड्विंशदष्टौ च सहस्राणि च विंशतिः ॥१६॥

16. nāma saṁkīrtayettasyā yathāsaṁkhyottaraṁ sa vai ,
phalaṁ ṣaḍviṁśadaṣṭau ca sahasrāṇi ca viṁśatiḥ.

16. He indeed should chant her name, progressively increasing the number (of chants) in due order. The fruit (result) obtained is twenty-six, eight, thousands, and twenty (units).
