महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-75, verse-29

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
तथा सर्वं कृतवान्धर्मराजो भीष्मेणोक्तो विधिवद्गोप्रदाने ।
स मान्धातुर्देवदेवोपदिष्टं सम्यग्धर्मं धारयामास राजा ॥२९॥
29. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tathā sarvaṁ kṛtavāndharmarājo; bhīṣmeṇokto vidhivadgopradāne ,
sa māndhāturdevadevopadiṣṭaṁ; samyagdharmaṁ dhārayāmāsa rājā.
29. vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca tathā sarvam kṛtavān
dharmarājaḥ bhīṣmeṇa uktaḥ vidhivat
gopradāne saḥ māndhātuḥ devadeva
upadiṣṭam samyak dharmam dhārayāmāsa rājā
29. Vaiśaṃpāyana spoke: Thus, King Yudhiṣṭhira (dharmarāja), instructed by Bhīṣma, performed everything properly regarding the giving of cows. That king properly observed the righteous conduct (dharma) which had been taught by the God of gods to Māndhātṛ.
