महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-69, verse-19

रुक्ममश्वांश्च ददतो रजतं स्यन्दनांस्तथा ।
न जग्राह ययौ चापि तदा स ब्राह्मणर्षभः ॥१९॥
19. rukmamaśvāṁśca dadato rajataṁ syandanāṁstathā ,
na jagrāha yayau cāpi tadā sa brāhmaṇarṣabhaḥ.
19. rukmaṃ aśvān ca dadato rajataṃ syandanān tathā
na jagrāha yayau ca api tadā saḥ brāhmaṇarṣabhaḥ
19. saḥ brāhmaṇarṣabhaḥ rukmaṃ aśvān ca rajataṃ
syandanān tathā dadato api tadā na jagrāha ca yayau
19. When gold, horses, silver, and chariots were being offered, that most excellent Brahmin (brāhmaṇarṣabha) did not accept them and departed.
