महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-69, verse-10

नृगस्ततोऽब्रवीत्कृष्णं ब्राह्मणस्याग्निहोत्रिणः ।
प्रोषितस्य परिभ्रष्टा गौरेका मम गोधने ॥१०॥
10. nṛgastato'bravītkṛṣṇaṁ brāhmaṇasyāgnihotriṇaḥ ,
proṣitasya paribhraṣṭā gaurekā mama godhane.
10. nṛgaḥ tataḥ abravīt kṛṣṇam brāhmaṇasya agnihotriṇaḥ
proṣitasya paribhraṣṭā gauḥ ekā mama godhane
10. Then Nṛga said to Kṛṣṇa: "One cow belonging to a brahmin (dvija), who was a performer of the Vedic fire ritual (homa) and was away from home, strayed into my cattle herd."
