34.
And the righteous-souled (dharmātmā) guru, having acknowledged his disciple who was fully dedicated to natural law (dharma), gratified him with a boon. That disciple, devoted to his guru, having received permission from the guru, then practiced unsurpassed asceticism (tapas).
