महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-41, verse-20

अजितेन्द्रिय पापात्मन्कामात्मक पुरंदर ।
न चिरं पूजयिष्यन्ति देवास्त्वां मानुषास्तथा ॥२०॥
20. ajitendriya pāpātmankāmātmaka puraṁdara ,
na ciraṁ pūjayiṣyanti devāstvāṁ mānuṣāstathā.
20. ajitendriya pāpātman kāmātmaka purandara na
ciram pūjayiṣyanti devāḥ tvām mānuṣāḥ tathā
20. O you whose senses are uncontrolled, O sinful soul, O one whose very nature is desire, O Indra (Purandara), neither the gods nor humans will worship you for long.
