महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-25, verse-29

दैवीं सिद्धिं मानुषीं दण्डनीतिं योगन्यायैः पालयित्वा महीं च ।
तस्माद्राजा धर्मशीलो महात्मा हयग्रीवो मोदते स्वर्गलोके ॥२९॥
29. daivīṁ siddhiṁ mānuṣīṁ daṇḍanītiṁ; yoganyāyaiḥ pālayitvā mahīṁ ca ,
tasmādrājā dharmaśīlo mahātmā; hayagrīvo modate svargaloke.

Therefore, having protected the earth and having maintained both divine accomplishments (siddhi) and human principles of governance (daṇḍanīti) through the principles of proper application (yoga) and justice (nyāya), that great-souled (mahātmā) King Hayagrīva, whose intrinsic nature (dharma) is righteousness, rejoices in the heavenly realm.
