महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-20, verse-22

दुर्मरं पुनरप्राप्ते काले भवति केनचित् ।
यदहं त्वां रणे दृष्ट्वा हतं जीवामि दुर्भगा ॥२२॥
22. durmaraṁ punaraprāpte kāle bhavati kenacit ,
yadahaṁ tvāṁ raṇe dṛṣṭvā hataṁ jīvāmi durbhagā.
22. durmaram punaḥ aprāpte kāle bhavati kenacit
yat aham tvām raṇe dṛṣṭvā hatam jīvāmi durbhagā

aprāpte kāle kenacit punaḥ durmaram bhavati.
yat aham raṇe tvām hatam dṛṣṭvā jīvāmi
22. It is difficult for anyone to die before their appointed time has arrived. But alas, O wretched one, that I live after seeing you slain in battle.
