महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-15, verse-24

एतदर्थं महाबाहुः शक्तिमानपि पाण्डवः ।
न विहन्त्येतदस्त्रं ते प्रजाहितचिकीर्षया ॥२४॥
24. etadarthaṁ mahābāhuḥ śaktimānapi pāṇḍavaḥ ,
na vihantyetadastraṁ te prajāhitacikīrṣayā.

vihanti etat astram te prajā hita cikīrṣayā

24. For this reason, the mighty-armed Pandava, even though powerful, will not destroy this weapon of yours, out of his desire to secure the welfare of the people.
