महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-15, verse-22

एवं धृतिमतः साधोः सर्वास्त्रविदुषः सतः ।
सभ्रातृबन्धोः कस्मात्त्वं वधमस्य चिकीर्षसि ॥२२॥
22. evaṁ dhṛtimataḥ sādhoḥ sarvāstraviduṣaḥ sataḥ ,
sabhrātṛbandhoḥ kasmāttvaṁ vadhamasya cikīrṣasi.

sa-bhrātṛbandhoḥ kasmāt tvam vadham asya cikīrṣasi
22. evam,
tvam dhṛtimataḥ sādhoḥ sarvāstraviduṣaḥ sataḥ sa-bhrātṛbandhoḥ asya vadham kasmāt cikīrṣasi?
22. So, why do you desire to kill him, this resolute and righteous (sat) man, who is skilled in all weapons, and who has his brothers and kinsmen (bandhu)?
