कृतं पापमिदं ब्रह्मन्रोषाविष्टेन चेतसा ।
वधमाशास्य पार्थानां मयास्त्रं सृजता रणे ॥१८॥

18. O Brahmin, this sin was committed by me, with a mind overcome by rage, desiring the slaughter of the Pārthas while unleashing the weapon in battle.
