महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-67, verse-7

आत्मनो बन्धुरात्मैव गतिरात्मैव चात्मनः ।
आत्मनैवात्मनो दानं कर्तुमर्हसि धर्मतः ॥७॥
7. ātmano bandhurātmaiva gatirātmaiva cātmanaḥ ,
ātmanaivātmano dānaṁ kartumarhasi dharmataḥ.
7. ātmanaḥ bandhuḥ ātmā eva gatiḥ ātmā eva ca ātmanaḥ
ātmanā eva ātmanaḥ dānam kartum arhasi dharmataḥ
7. The self is indeed one's friend, and the self alone is one's refuge. Therefore, you should righteously offer your self according to dharma.
