महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-67, verse-32

कण्व उवाच ।
प्रसन्न एव तस्याहं त्वत्कृते वरवर्णिनि ।
गृहाण च वरं मत्तस्तत्कृते यदभीप्सितम् ॥३२॥
32. kaṇva uvāca ,
prasanna eva tasyāhaṁ tvatkṛte varavarṇini ,
gṛhāṇa ca varaṁ mattastatkṛte yadabhīpsitam.
32. kaṇvaḥ uvāca prasannaḥ eva tasyāḥ aham tvatkṛte
varavarṇini gṛhāṇa ca varam mattaḥ tatkṛte yat abhīpsitam
32. Kaṇva said: 'O beautiful lady, I am indeed pleased with her on your account. Therefore, ask from me whatever boon is desired for her.'
