महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-67, verse-19

एवमुक्त्वा स राजर्षिस्तामनिन्दितगामिनीम् ।
जग्राह विधिवत्पाणावुवास च तया सह ॥१९॥
19. evamuktvā sa rājarṣistāmaninditagāminīm ,
jagrāha vidhivatpāṇāvuvāsa ca tayā saha.

19. Having spoken thus, that royal sage, according to ritual, took her (the one with faultless gait) by the hand, and then dwelled with her.
