महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-25, verse-21

तस्य बृंहितशब्देन कूर्मोऽप्यन्तर्जलेशयः ।
उत्थितोऽसौ महाकायः कृत्स्नं संक्षोभयन्सरः ॥२१॥
21. tasya bṛṁhitaśabdena kūrmo'pyantarjaleśayaḥ ,
utthito'sau mahākāyaḥ kṛtsnaṁ saṁkṣobhayansaraḥ.
21. tasya bṛṃhitaśabdena kūrmaḥ api antarjaleśayaḥ
utthitaḥ asau mahākāyaḥ kṛtsnam saṃkṣobhayan saraḥ
21. At the sound of the elephant's trumpeting, that colossal tortoise, who had been lying within the water, rose up, stirring the entire lake.
