महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-25, verse-2

द्विजोत्तम विनिर्गच्छ तूर्णमास्यादपावृतात् ।
न हि मे ब्राह्मणो वध्यः पापेष्वपि रतः सदा ॥२॥
2. dvijottama vinirgaccha tūrṇamāsyādapāvṛtāt ,
na hi me brāhmaṇo vadhyaḥ pāpeṣvapi rataḥ sadā.
2. dvijottama vinirgaccha tūrṇam āsyāt apāvṛtāt na
hi me brāhmaṇaḥ vadhyaḥ pāpeṣu api rataḥ sadā
2. O best of the twice-born, quickly depart from my opened mouth! For a Brahmin is certainly not to be killed by me, even if he is always engaged in sinful acts.
