महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-25, verse-16

नियन्तुं न हि शक्यस्त्वं भेदतो धनमिच्छसि ।
यस्मात्तस्मात्सुप्रतीक हस्तित्वं समवाप्स्यसि ॥१६॥
16. niyantuṁ na hi śakyastvaṁ bhedato dhanamicchasi ,
yasmāttasmātsupratīka hastitvaṁ samavāpsyasi.
16. niyantum na hi śakyaḥ tvam bhedataḥ dhanam icchasi
yasmāt tasmāt supratīka hastitvam samavāpsyasi
16. Indeed, you cannot be controlled, and because you desire wealth by causing disunity, therefore, O Supratika, you will attain the state of an elephant.
