महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-176, verse-8

यज्ञसेनस्य कामस्तु पाण्डवाय किरीटिने ।
कृष्णां दद्यामिति सदा न चैतद्विवृणोति सः ॥८॥
8. yajñasenasya kāmastu pāṇḍavāya kirīṭine ,
kṛṣṇāṁ dadyāmiti sadā na caitadvivṛṇoti saḥ.

kṛṣṇām dadyām iti sadā na ca etat vivṛṇoti saḥ
8. Yajñasena's (Drupada's) desire, however, was always, 'I should give Kṛṣṇā (Draupadi) to the crowned Pāṇḍava (Arjuna),' but he never revealed this.
