महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-176, verse-33

निःशब्दे तु कृते तस्मिन्धृष्टद्युम्नो विशां पते ।
रङ्गमध्यगतस्तत्र मेघगम्भीरया गिरा ।
वाक्यमुच्चैर्जगादेदं श्लक्ष्णमर्थवदुत्तमम् ॥३३॥
33. niḥśabde tu kṛte tasmindhṛṣṭadyumno viśāṁ pate ,
raṅgamadhyagatastatra meghagambhīrayā girā ,
vākyamuccairjagādedaṁ ślakṣṇamarthavaduttamam.
33. niḥśabde tu kṛte tasmin dhṛṣṭadyumnaḥ
viśām pate raṅgamadhyagataḥ tatra
meghagambhīrayā girā vākyam uccaiḥ
jagāda idam ślakṣṇam arthavat uttamam
33. O lord of the people, when silence was established, Dhṛṣṭadyumna, standing in the middle of the arena, then spoke this articulate, meaningful, and excellent statement (vākya) in a voice as deep as a thundercloud.
