महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-118, verse-20

अथैनं देशजैः शुक्लैर्वासोभिः समयोजयन् ।
आच्छन्नः स तु वासोभिर्जीवन्निव नरर्षभः ।
शुशुभे पुरुषव्याघ्रो महार्हशयनोचितः ॥२०॥
20. athainaṁ deśajaiḥ śuklairvāsobhiḥ samayojayan ,
ācchannaḥ sa tu vāsobhirjīvanniva nararṣabhaḥ ,
śuśubhe puruṣavyāghro mahārhaśayanocitaḥ.
20. atha enam deśajaiḥ śuklaiḥ vāsobhiḥ
samayojayan ācchannaḥ saḥ tu
vāsobhiḥ jīvan iva nararṣabhaḥ śuśubhe
puruṣavyāghraḥ mahārhaśayanocitaḥ
20. Then they adorned him with white garments produced locally. Covered with these garments, that best of men, a tiger among men, who was accustomed to a costly bed, appeared resplendent as if he were still alive.
