महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-118, verse-1

धृतराष्ट्र उवाच ।
पाण्डोर्विदुर सर्वाणि प्रेतकार्याणि कारय ।
राजवद्राजसिंहस्य माद्र्याश्चैव विशेषतः ॥१॥
1. dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca ,
pāṇḍorvidura sarvāṇi pretakāryāṇi kāraya ,
rājavadrājasiṁhasya mādryāścaiva viśeṣataḥ.
1. dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca pāṇḍoḥ vidura sarvāṇi pretakāryāṇi
kāraya rājavat rājasiṃhasya mādryāḥ ca eva viśeṣataḥ
1. Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: "O Vidura, arrange for all the funeral rites for Pāṇḍu, that lion among kings, as befits a monarch. Do this especially for Mādrī as well."
