संघशोऽहमनन्तात्मा व्यापी व्योम तदा किल ।
स्यातां तस्यामवस्थायां कीदृशी तौ गमागमौ ॥ २ ॥

saṃghaśo'hamanantātmā vyāpī vyoma tadā kila ,
syātāṃ tasyāmavasthāyāṃ kīdṛśī tau gamāgamau 2

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said:
At that time, I was the infinite Self (ātman), pervading space in its manifold forms, indeed. In such a state, what sort of going and coming (movement and cessation) could those two (concepts) possibly entail?
