सर्वं चिद्व्योम चैवेदं न सत्त्वमहमित्यपि ।
विकाराद्यस्ति न ज्ञप्तावज्ञप्तिं न लभेत्क्वचित् ॥ ९ ॥

sarvaṃ cidvyoma caivedaṃ na sattvamahamityapi ,
vikārādyasti na jñaptāvajñaptiṃ na labhetkvacit 9

All this is indeed the consciousness-ether (cidvyoma), and it is not even the ego (ahaṅkāra) that declares "I am existence." It does not manifest as a modification within the realm of knowledge (jñapti), nor can it ever attain non-knowledge (ajñapti) anywhere.
