And let visual phenomena (rūpajāla) be observed, whenever they are encountered, without creating mental impressions (avāsanā), without emotional attachment (arasa), devoid of mental constructs, ego (māna), or pride, just like eyes looking at a painting [which observe without subjective engagement].
