द्यौरिवर्क्षभरैरासीत्तदासारं भुवस्तलम् ।
विवर्तमानैरभितः कचद्भिर्ज्वलनायुधैः ॥ १२ ॥

vivartamānairabhitaḥ kacadbhirjvalanāyudhaiḥ 12

12. dyauḥ iva ṛkṣa-bharaiḥ āsīt tadā āsāram bhuvaḥ
talam vivartamānaiḥ abhitaḥ kacadbhiḥ jvalanāyudhaiḥ

12. tadā bhuvaḥ talam ṛkṣa-bharaiḥ dyauḥ iva āsāram
āsīt vivartamānaiḥ abhitaḥ kacadbhiḥ jvalanāyudhaiḥ

12. At that time, the surface of the earth became a torrent, like the sky filled with multitudes of stars, due to the fiery weapons that were revolving and blazing all around.

12. פני האדמה דמו באותה שעה לשמיים הזרועים כוכבים, עת ניתכו עליהם מכל עבר כלי נשק בוערים ומסתחררים שזהרו בעוצמה.
