योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-52, verse-21

अथैतानि विचित्राणि भूतानि बहुयुक्तिभिः ।
क्षिपयन्ति सुरा राम भुवो भारनिवृत्तये ॥ २१ ॥

21. atha rāma,

21. Now then, O Rama, the gods (sura) cause these diverse beings (bhūta) to perish through many means for the removal of the earth's burden.
