तावज्जन्मसहस्राणि भ्रमन्ति भुवि मानवाः ।
यावन्नोपशमं याति मनोमत्तमहार्णवः ॥ ३७ ॥

37. Human beings wander on earth for thousands of births (saṃsāra) as long as the mind (manaḥ), which is like a maddened great ocean, does not achieve tranquility.
