योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-7, verse-25

अधःकरोति निष्यन्दं चन्द्रमाह्लादनं प्रिय ।
न तथा सुखयत्येषा चेतस्त्रिभुवनेशिता ॥ २५ ॥
adhaḥkaroti niṣyandaṃ candramāhlādanaṃ priya ,
na tathā sukhayatyeṣā cetastribhuvaneśitā 25
25. adhaḥ karoti niṣyandam candrāhlādanam priya |
na tathā sukhayati eṣā cetaḥ tribhuvaneśitā ||
25. priya,
eṣā candrāhlādanam niṣyandam adhaḥ karoti tribhuvaneśitā tathā cetaḥ na sukhayati
25. Dear one, this [affection] surpasses the moon's delight (āhlādana) and its soothing flow (niṣyanda). Not even the sovereignty over the three worlds (tribhuvana) delights the mind (cetas) as much.
