योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-29, verse-13

सवासनत्वाद्वपुषामल्पसत्त्वात्सुरद्विषाम् ।
या तु प्रहारपरता मार्जितेवाशु साभवत् ॥ १३ ॥
savāsanatvādvapuṣāmalpasattvātsuradviṣām ,
yā tu prahāraparatā mārjitevāśu sābhavat 13
13. savāsanatvāt vapuṣām alpasattvāt suradviṣām | yā
tu prahāraparatā mārjitā iva āśu sā abhavat ||
13. suradviṣām vapuṣām savāsanatvāt [ca] alpasattvāt tu yā prahāraparatā [āsīt],
sā āśu mārjitā iva abhavat
13. However, due to the bodies of the enemies of the gods (suradvit) being full of latent impressions (saṃskāra) and their having little inner strength, their eagerness to strike quickly vanished, as if wiped away.
